Why are we posting this? On October 4, Rachel Maddow had a great segment on her show about the PA Department of State's confusing information regarding Voter ID not being required at the November 6 election:     But the PA Department of State website, votespa.com is apparently similar enough to our name VotePA that confusion occurred. At 10:47 PM, less thqn a half hour after the above segment aired, the following lovely message was left to our Executive Director's personal voicemail from a blocked phone number (warning-strong language): Phonecall_to_VotePA_10-4-12.mp3 VotePA is a group of citizens, and we are trying to help. We have been working hard for over seven years to draw attention to a very real statewide problem (the aging, unverifiable paperless voting machines in PA) that so many others ignore. So please people, be aware of whom you are calling before you dial.     About VotePA: We are a statewide alliance dedicated to voting rights and election integrity.
